- For a service measurement, please hand in your sample with an order sheet. This should be cut or folded in DIN A6 form and attached to the sample. The drop-off cabinet is located next to room 0.515.
- IMPORTANT: For all long-term measurements we need the most accurate information possible about the concentration and structure of the molecule. Approximately estimated data are better than none!
- In case of missing data the standard measurement conditions for concentrated samples of >50 mmolar will be set.
Sample drop off and opening hours
NMR samples for routine measurements can be dropped off at any time in the sample drop-off cabinet next to room 0.515. To ensure that you are processed on the same day, please note our opening hours:
- Monday - Thursday
7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Friday
7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. -
Late samples will be processed the next day or Monday
-
Outside of opening hours, eligible students may use the self-measurement facility at Luna in room 0.516.
Transfer of NMR data
- All NMR data are processed and made available on a server directly after the measurement.
- The data are stored for 10 years.
- The users (working group leaders) get a password protected access.
- If necessary, data can be sent by email.
- For questions about data transfer please contact Mrs. Weynand -5819

The 300 MHz spectrometer "Luna" is located in a spearate room in the Central Analytics and has been set up for self-measurement operation. Instructed students (master, phD and postdoc) can use the instrument around the clock for fast reaction control. Long-term measurements can be started at night and on weekends.
- Authorized persons: Masters, phD and postdoc of the Institutes of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Briefing: With Mrs. Spitz every Tuesday after registration: Tel: -2420
- Room: 0.515
- Hours: Always open
- Access keys: Dr. Rings on the 3rd floor, R. (after briefing).
Measurement orders for other institutes and external parties
The NMR department can carry out measurement orders for other institutes and external parties if sufficient measurement capacity is available. Depending on the problem, this may result in a scientific cooperation or service.
Application/Inquiry: Dr. S. Nozinovic 2658, nozinovic@uni-bonn.de
The pure measurement time is the basis for the calculation of the measurement contract. For the exact modalities please refer to the user regulations.
