From December 2022 onward, Prof. Barbara Kirchner is appointed as Senior Editor of the ACS Journal of Physical Chemistry A/B/C. The primary editorial focus will be on ionic liquids which has been a core component of her personal research and is a growing field for the Journal of Physical Chemistry. Through this editorial focus it is aimed to further strengthen the presence of ionic liquids in modern physical chemistry.
