The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has bestowed Dr. Sudip Bera the Humboldt Research Fellowship for foreign postdoctoral researchers to conduct an independent research project in Germany over two years. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is the most prominent founding body in Germany that supports international academic exchange.  Dr. Bera seeks to design electron- and proton-responsive azo-based ligands for the hydrogen evolution reaction at main group metal centers.
