Directions

  • By public transport

From the main railway station, take tram line 63 or 16 (direction Cologne), which departs from underground track 1. Get off at the second stop (‘Probsthof Nord’) and after leaving the stop turn right into the street ‘Am Probsthof’. Go straight ahead at the roundabout until you turn left into ‘Gerhard-Domagk-Straße’ after approx. 500 m. The Chemical Institutes are located in the second building on the right-hand side.

  • By car

    • Coming from Cologne
Leave the A565 motorway at the Bonn Endenich exit, turn right at the end of the exit onto ‘Hermann-Wandersleb-Ring’ and take the next right onto ‘Auf dem Hügel’. After approx. 700 metres turn right into ‘Probsthof’ and then after approx. 450m turn right again into ‘Gerhard-Domagk-Straße’. The second building on the right-hand side accomodates the University's Institutes of Chemistry. Parking is available at the entrance after the building.

    • Coming from Koblenz
Leave the A565 motorway at the Bonn-Tannenbusch exit, turn right at the end of the exit into 'Lievelingsweg' and then right again into 'Bornheimer Straße'. Quickly change to the left-hand lane so that you can continue along 'Bornheimer Straße' until the next set of traffic lights, where you turn right into ‘Probsthof’. Drive straight on for 700 metres (take the 2nd exit at the roundabout) and then turn left into ‘Gerhard-Domagk-Straße’. The second building on the right-hand side accommodates the University's Chemical Institutes. Parking is available at the entrance after the building.

  • The Institute of Inorganic Chemistry

Standing in front of the Chemical Institutes Endenich building ('Gerhard-Domagk-Straße' is on your right), the left wing of the building is the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry. In the entrance area you will find a display board with further information.
